Different company provided material, and is now out of business.

Original review posted by user Mar 30

We wanted a maintenance free window trim to improve the appearance of our home and chose an Alside/Revere building product. After a few years, the paint started to fail on the window trim, and is peeling off many windows.

This looks really bad, it’s getting worse, and detracts from our homes appearance. Ten of our twenty windows have this issue. I submitted a warranty claim which was quickly denied, as a non-covered item. Also, requested information on what we can do to correct/improve the deteriorating appearance around our windows.

No response received. Wish we were aware of these inferior product issues before the installation. Definitely would not select this material again. The next door neighbor had the same thing done, at the same time and used a Window World product.

They do not have any paint failure issues.

Alside/Revere really need to correct the paint issues with this product. Unsatisfied!!!

Review about: Alside Window Window.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Product failed and warranty claim denied.

I can't figure out how to delete this post. Just found out that it was another company, that went out of business last year, who installed the product.

The part that is peeling is a sill trim board that your installer obviously wrapped with PVC coated aluminum trim coil. It is the trim coil that is failing...that has nothing to do with Alside's window.

you should take down your review or correct it.

This is not a product issue it's an install issue. You need to contact your installer.
